# Six Microsoft Certifications in One Year!

After 5 years of hands-on Azure experience, I've now formalized my skills by earning 6 Microsoft certifications in the past 12 months, all done in evenings and weekends. It's amazing what consistent goal setting can do, even with limited time. 💪

Yesterday I passed the AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer Expert) with 863/1000 (my highest score to date). You can verify it here: [AZ-400 Microsoft Learn credential](https://learn.microsoft.com/api/credentials/share/en-us/PATRICKKOOREVAAR-0854/347277B9F368BD07?sharingId=A52A659CC668BC7A).

20 Aug 2025 — AZ-900 (Azure Fundamentals)
12 Nov 2025 — AZ-204 (Azure Developer Associate)
27 Nov 2025 — AI-900 (Azure AI Fundamentals)
30 Jan 2026 — AI-102 (Azure AI Engineer Associate)
26 Mar 2026 — AZ-104 (Azure Administrator Associate)
28 May 2026 — AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer Expert)

The AZ-400 lab tasks were like the work I do daily (CI/CD, Azure DevOps, ACR/Git, service connections, etc.), which made the high score even more satisfying.

These certs (except for the AI ones) mostly validated and deepened what I was already doing daily at work.

Now that these are officially on paper, I'm looking forward to the next challenge: AZ-305 (Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions), which will take me into more new territory.

What goals have you set for yourself this year? 👋
