For ASP.NET and .NET developers starting their Microsoft certification journey, here's what worked for me:

• Watch Microsoft's exam prep videos before you start studying, or after you finish, to check whether you've covered everything.
• Take the assessment test on Microsoft Learn first to see where your weak spots are.
• Take your time to get the fundamentals right, and definitely don't skip AZ-900.

If you want to continue with more certifications, and AZ-305 is one of your goals, I'd recommend this path:

• Move on to AZ-104 after AZ-900 without waiting too long.
• Same holds for AZ-305: do it while AZ-104 is still fresh.
• Save the other certifications for after AZ-305.
